Yoga can be practiced by everyone. No experience, strength or flexibility is required to start. Please, bring an open mind which is ready to learn.

Yoga is not a competition. Work at your own level, your body will respond best with a kind approach. Rest when you need to.

It is best to practice Yoga on an empty stomach. Try not to eat for 2 hours before class. If you need to, have something very light such as fruit or nuts.

It’s good to arrive early so you can be ready on your mat before the class starts.

Inform the teacher if you have any injuries or medical conditions that might affect your practice.

Wear comfortable clothing which lets you breath and move with ease.

Yoga is best practiced barefoot on a sticky mat. You can keep your socks handy for the relaxation at the end.

It’s nice to have your own mat, so if you have one, bring it along. Some mats are available.

Hydrate well before and after but try not to drink during practice.

Opt out of inverted poses if you are menstruating.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask after class.

Enjoy yourself!
